The president (PT) installed part of his electoral committee in Lago Sul, a neighborhood with high-end properties in Brasília, and expanded the size of the coordination of his pre-campaign for re-election.
The structure of the PT member’s team will be divided into two addresses: part will work in a building next to the PT headquarters, while the communications nucleus will occupy the house in Lago Sul.
As the pre-campaign progressed, members of the coordination who do not live in Brasília took on their roles, remaining in the city for longer, since last Monday (8).
Lula expanded coordination, delegating new tasks and young people to the team. The initial nucleus was made up mainly of old allies, PT members with the restricted confidence of the president.

Stuckert will work alongside publicist Raul Rabelo, the campaign’s likely marketer, and the PT’s communications secretary, Eden Valadares.
Eden is from the PT of Bahia, the most populous state that the party governs. He must work in partnership with Rabelo and in tune with the minister (Secom), who remains in government, but must maintain influence over the campaign’s communication.
Responsible for PT’s digital coordination, Nicole Briones will also be part of Lula’s pre-campaign communications team.
Under the command of PT president, Edinho Silva, the pre-campaign nucleus usually has meetings on Mondays at Palácio da Alvorada with , although the meetings are not held every week. There are also conversations without the president via videoconference and in person.

Former Minister of Education, Senator Camilo Santana should be responsible for political issues and campaign actions involving the Northeast region, where Lula usually has the most votes. He was governor of Ceará. Throughout the current term, he has become one of Lula’s most trusted allies.
PT Nucleation Secretary, Claudinha Lima is from Pará, close to senator Beto Faro (PT-PA). She and Mazé Moraes will work with the base nucleus, for the regional organization of the campaign and organization of workshops to debate the government program, for example.
Among their roles, Júlia Kopf and Luna Zarattini should lead Lula’s dialogue with young voters, one of the president’s main challenges, especially in large urban centers. Both are from São Paulo.
Laercio Ribeiro, also from São Paulo, should be one of the executive arms of Lula’s re-election effort. He must work closely with former minister Gilberto Carvalho, responsible for the candidacy agenda.
Before incorporating the new members, Lula already had a team around him. Most of them have had a decades-long relationship with the President of the Republic. The names are:

The president of BNDES, also collaborates with the PT pre-campaign. He was responsible for the government program presented by Lula in the 2022 election.
Today, coordinating the government plan, Gabrielli will coordinate 13 thematic groups to prepare the program. The document should be presented in July.
The senator has not yet defined which city will host the campaign, although members of the pre-campaign team defend São Paulo.
