Highest June temperature ever recorded in Antarctica


Buenos Aires – The highest June temperature ever has been recorded in Antarctica. As the National Weather Service of Argentina announced on Thursday, a temperature of 15.4 degrees Celsius was measured at the Esperanza Base research station on June 6th. The thermometer in Antarctica has never climbed this high before. According to the information, the average June temperature at Esperanza Station is actually minus 6.2 degrees.
