The Popular Party intensifies its offensive against the veto of the Congress Board, with a majority of PSOE and Sumar, to the vote on the PP and Junts amendments to urge President Pedro Sánchez to call early elections. This Thursday, Alberto Núñez Feijóo’s party announced that it will appeal to the Constitutional Court against this decision, which they call “cacicada”, arguing that their right to parliamentary debate is curtailed. The leader of the Popular Party already charged this matter against the President of the Government on Wednesday, and, a day later, his spokespersons raised the decibels even more. “We live in a kidnapped democracy,” declared the Secretary General, Miguel Tellado.
