Without Endrick among the starters, Brazil faces Haiti this Thursday (19) in the second round of Group C of the World Cup.
Despite the mobilization of fans on social media asking for an opportunity for the 19-year-old striker, coach Carlo Ancelotti opted to leave the number 19 on the bench for the clash.
The report spoke to Cíntia Ramos, the player’s mother, a few minutes before the start of Brazil’s second clash in Group C.
“He is very calm. He is very happy. If given the opportunity, he will do his best. Now we just have to wait and see what will happen.”
Cíntia said that she was able to closely follow Brazil’s debut in the competition, in the United States, but had to return to Brazil for family reasons.
In the next few days, however, he will travel to Miami to watch the team’s next games, against Scotland.
According to her, the expectation for Endrick’s possible entry into the field is accompanied by prayers and messages of encouragement. This Thursday (19), the day before departure, Cíntia sent a message to Endrick.
“I sent him a message: ‘Son, may God bless you and may you do a good performance. We will be here praying and rooting for you’,”
