Vienna – It is thanks to an employee at a bank branch in Währing that one of the tricksters who specifically target older people was stopped in time. The suspect’s planned victim was a 90-year-old woman who wanted to withdraw 9,750 euros from the said branch on Friday morning. However, the customer was unable to conclusively answer what the money was intended for, which is why the attentive employee became suspicious.
