Nine out of ten Israelis They believe that Iran has emerged victorious from the war against the United States and Israel, according to a survey carried out after the signing of the preliminary agreement between and , a pre-agreement that brings important economic advantages for the Iranians.

According to a survey by the Hebrew University, 92.1 percent of those questioned consider that the initial agreement represents a blow to the interests of Israel and the United States, and 82.9 percent believe that the military campaign against Tehran has ended up damaging Israel’s security interests in the long term.

The figure of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, comes out quite negatively affected by the poll: 72.5% believe that the president is lying when it says that Israel has achieved important victories during the conflict and almost 88% consider that the country has not achieved all the objectives it has set or has only achieved some of them.

56.4% believe that Netanyahu’s management of the war has been a failure, and 48.2%, according to the ‘Times of Israel’, see the only way out to continue with the military operation in Lebanon at the risk of derailing the talks between Iran and the US and thereby further angering the president of the United States.

The survey was conducted by the Agam Institute in collaboration with the Hebrew University between June 17 and 20. The survey included 3,644 Israelis over the age of 17, selected using a weighted sample to reflect the composition of the population. According to pollsters, the maximum margin of error is 2.2% with a confidence level of 99%.
