It is truly rare that around 40 years of research into a complex literary work are discarded through a rapid succession of editions. This is the case with Ingeborg Bachmann, as a result of the so-called Salzburg Edition. Of the 30 opus volumes, the last eight have been announced. The issue is scheduled to be completed in 2034.
