The brand’s first hotel in Portugal is being built in Portimão and is now beginning to take visible form near the Praia do Vau area, after a period in which the progress of works was barely evident. The project is part of a new wave of hotel investment in the Algarve, with a strong focus on the larger-scale tourist segment.
The future development will be located a few dozen meters from Praia do Vau, in one of the most popular areas on the Portimão coast during the summer.
The project envisages a hotel with 275 rooms, complemented by 150 tourist apartments. It should be noted that this combination aims to respond to different demand profiles, from short stays to longer stays in the region.
Offer designed for different types of guests
In addition to the accommodation component, the complex will include a diverse range of services and equipment. Among the planned spaces are three restaurants and three bars, as well as swimming pools and leisure areas.
The hotel will also have a spa, gym, shop, areas dedicated to sports, a conference room and a leisure space aimed at children, in a model that combines tourism and complementary services in the same space.
