Minister of the Interior Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Hlas-SD) draws attention to products that contain synthetic cannabinoids and other psychoactive substances. According to him, the police have already recorded cases of hospitalization and the death of a young person in this connection. The head of the department appeals to parents to pay attention to what is reaching their children. He said this in a video on the social network.
According to him, the problematic products looked like harmless CBD or so-called CBG products. However, the police have recorded cases where substances were found in them that can cause panic, hallucinations, aggression, disorders of consciousness, convulsions, heart problems or death.
The minister pointed out that electronic cigarettes, sweets, packages from the Internet or products from vending machines may not be what they are in reality. “Childhood should belong to children, not to dealers, not to vending machines and not to dangerous substances in pretty packaging,” he emphasized.
