Flávio Bolsonaro and Javier Milei meet in Argentina – 06/29/2026 – Politics

One day after an event in Buenos Aires, the senator (-RJ) met this Monday morning (29) with the president of the country, at the president’s official residence, Quinta de Olivos.

The commitment was not part of the Argentine’s official agenda, but it was speculated in recent days, and is seen as a nod from the ultraliberal to the senator, who must face the president (PT) at the polls in October.

After the meeting, Milei reposted a photo saying that the “blue wave”, a movement in reference to the victories of right-wing candidates in South America, will arrive in Brazil with Flávio.

According to Flávio’s advisors, after Milei said he was certain of the arrival of the “blue wave” in the country, the PL pre-candidate for President reinforced the importance of this movement, imposing a broad defeat on left-wing governments.

Milei is expected to speak on Monday night at a conference that brings together representatives from the Aliados de Foundation, as well as legislators, political allies, ambassadors and religious leaders.

The Argentine president is expected to speak at the conference at around 8 pm, where he would meet with Flávio Bolsonaro once again. Afterwards, the president leaves for Paraguay, to participate in the Mercosur summit.

One of the main axes of the conference is the expansion of the Isaac Accords, an initiative that continues to gain strength with the incorporation of new countries thanks to the leadership and influence of allies of the Israeli government in the .

Speaking at the event the night before, Flávio said that Brazilians are “envious” of their neighbors in Latin America, who in recent elections have chosen representatives from the right.

The ultra-rightist Milei is an ally of the Bolsonaro family and a critic of President Lula. In July 2024, Milei stopped attending a NO summit to participate, alongside the former president (PL), in one.
