Aschbach – After an attempted ATM explosion in Aschbach-Markt (Amstetten district) in November 2025, a suspect was arrested. According to police information on Wednesday, it is a 28-year-old Dutch citizen. He partially confessed and was taken to the St. Pölten prison on the orders of the public prosecutor. Investigations into as yet unknown accomplices are ongoing.
