This week on ‘Married at First Sight’, the contestants received a visit from experts in their homes, aiming to reflect on their relationships.
Sara Malcato visited the couple Carla and Diogo Alexandre, who ended up sharing the small “disagreement” they experienced the day before, while preparing a chocolate mousse in the kitchen ().
After sharing with the expert that, during the making of the sweet, Carla felt that Diogo Alexandre was only talking about himself and that he “never” allowed his partner to talk about himself, the two competitors heard the words of Sara Malcato, who explained the points of view of each of them.
Following this, and upon realizing that he may not have had “empathy” with Carla by not letting her speak, Diogo Alexandre burst into tears: “Sorry…”he said.
“I almost feel an urgent need to apologize to her for perhaps not having the capacity to understand or for not having been in her role, for not being able to be empathetic in that sense”he also said, when talking to the production team.
