Horrified influencer shocked vacationers: avoid THIS Croatian resort!

Croatia has long been a popular summer destination for tourists. However, in recent years, the opinions of some visitors have been mixed. While many praise its natural beauty, coastline and cuisine, others point to the rising prices of services and accommodation. Among the critics is the American influencer and travel blogger Erin Fang, who shared her honest impressions after a trip along the Croatian coast.

  • Influencer Erin Fang says to avoid Dubrovnik during your vacation.
  • According to her, the reason is the extreme crowds and prices, which have almost doubled in two years.
  • He recommends Pula or Montenegro as a cheaper alternative.

In a recent video on social networks, the influencer pointed out one Croatian city, which, according to her, is becoming less and less suitable for a summer vacation due to overcrowding and high prices. Her observations attracted a lot of attention, as they touch on the current problems of tourism in the Adriatic.

Fang issued a stark warning to foreign tourists before visiting Dubrovnik. “This location may not be the best choice during the summer months for those looking for a quieter vacation,” she said. Although her opinion is controversial, she insists that tourists who want to avoid long lines and large crowds should consider other destinations.

According to her, Dubrovnik has recently been extremely overloaded with tourists and prices have almost doubled in the last two years. The increase in direct flights from various world destinations puts even more strain on local infrastructure, so crowds in peak season are often unbearable in her experience.

As an alternative to southern Dalmatia, the traveler recommended visiting Pula in Istria or Montenegro. He believes these destinations offer a similar Mediterranean experience, but at significantly lower prices. “They are only a fraction of what is common in Dubrovnik today“, she noted.

Despite criticism of the crowds and prices in Dubrovnik, the American vlogger highlighted the natural scenery and gastronomy of Croatia. She was especially surprised by the quality of local products. “It turned out that Croatia produces one of the best olive oils in the world. I also liked the truffles there. These products remain underappreciated internationally despite their high quality“, she stated.

She named the islands in the Split archipelago as the highlight of her vacation. She was particularly charmed by Hvar, where she said she found some of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches she had seen during her travels around the world.

If you plan to explore several cities in Croatia in a short time, the influencer says that it is not necessary to rent a car. Based on her own experience, she found that buses provide easy access to most destinations. “Tourists can use a number of catamaran lines that make traveling much easier and faster“, she concluded.
