Milton Leite, who left the presidency last week, has not yet let go of his position, at least in the councilors’ WhatsApp group.
Now without a mandate, after having given up running for re-election,
“I can’t wait for you all to return to the plenary debate. I’m going to have fun. I’ll be in the armchair”, he joked, in a message after the New Year. Several parliamentarians reacted with laughter, calling him president.
The group does not have much use for the mandate, however, serving more to exchange amenities and happy birthday wishes.
