According to Orbán, the most important question is what will happen to the Hungarians and their interests.
Hungarian diplomacy in the past hundred years has never been as strong as it is now. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán announced this on Sunday while evaluating the results of the American elections in an interview for commercial television TV2, the TASR correspondent in Budapest reports.
“We can achieve our interests and goals more easily than before, but only we can achieve them,” underlined the Prime Minister.
According to Orbán, Trump is fighting for the same things that Hungary is fighting for
According to him, the most important question is what will happen to the Hungarians. “The interests of Hungarians must be promoted by every Hungarian government. We must not perceive the American president as some kind of savior, but as a comrade-in-arms,” added Orbán.
According to him, the winner of the US presidential election, Donald Trump, is fighting for the same things that Hungary is fighting for. “We are not alone now. We have behind us the whole of America, the American government,” noted the Hungarian prime minister, according to whom Trump will above all restore peace and expand Hungary’s economic opportunities.
