The Brazilian team performed this Monday (11) in Belém, Pará, to begin preparations for the games against Venezuela and Uruguay, in the World Cup qualifiers. According to the CBF schedule, the first training session will take place late this Monday afternoon (11).
Of the 23 athletes called up, 21 have already arrived in the capital of Pará and are available to coach Dorival Júnior. Only Raphinha, from Barcelona, and Abner, from Lyon, have not yet performed.
Before departing for Venezuela, players will have three days to prepare. In addition to this Monday’s activities, the team will also train on Tuesday (12), at 5 pm, and on Wednesday, at 9:30 am, when they will finalize their preparation for the match.
On this last FIFA date, Brazil travels to Maturín where they face the Venezuela team this Thursday (14), at 6pm (Brasília time), and next Tuesday (19), the match is against Uruguay, at Arena Fonte Nova , in Salvador, at 9:45 pm (Brasília time).
In the last FIFA date, Dorival’s men won two victories. The team beat Chile, 2-1, and Peru, 4-0.
With 16 points won, the Brazilian team is in 4th place in the Qualifiers classification table. Venezuela is in 8th place with 11 points, while Uruguay appears in third, with the same score as the Brazilian team.
