The meeting, at the BNDES headquarters, in Brasília, took place after Orsi was announced.
One of the points discussed was the partnership with development banks. The intention is to create, in the long term, a development bank similar to BNDES. The joint seminar would involve Brazilian companies from various sectors with the aim of expanding possibilities for bilateral investment and trade.
“Uruguay is a country with great potential for market access and investment attraction and BNDES will be an important partner to further support the country’s development,” said Mercadante.
