Austria extends its winning streak with a 3-1 win at LASK and is already second


Linz – Vienna Austria remains on the road to success. Coach Stephan Helm’s team won 3-1 (1-0) in the Bundesliga with ruthless efficiency against LASK on Sunday. Manfred Fischer (20th), Abubakr Barry (48th) and Maurice Malone (78th) scored for the guests, a goal from Florian Flecker (72nd) was not enough for Linz. Thanks to their seventh league win in a row, the Violets are second, three points behind Sturm Graz. In sixth place, LASK is still just in the top half of the table.
