The United Theaters Vienna (VBW) is once again devoting itself to historical material: With “Maria Theresia”, the great Habsburg ruler will be honored on stage next autumn when the musical of the same name premieres on October 10th at the Ronacher. In a broadcast, the VBW promise “a living portrait of power, passion and historical change”, combining “monumental drama with modern sound, pulsating beats with haunting lyrics”.
