The Deliberative Council of the Victory approved, this Monday (16), the budget for the 2025 season. R$252 million netis the biggest in the club’s history. The gross forecast is R$282 million.
The vote on the board’s proposal was made at a meeting at Barradão, Leão’s home, in Salvador. Only one councilor was against approval. Below, the Itatiaia shows you the most important parts of the budget.
Salary slip
The red-black leadership expects to spend R$174.7 million on f alone. This is R$38 million more than the value in 2024. Among the largest amounts are athletes’ salaries and wages (R$51 million) and image rights (R$41 million).
The expectation, therefore, is that Vitória’s monthly salary bill will be R$7.6 million. The values were revealed by GE and confirmed by Online.
Hiring
The budget is R$17.6 million in signings for professional football. It is worth remembering that the club spent R$5.1 million on purchasing 60% of the economic rights of right-back Claudinho, but this amount will enter the 2024 financial year.
Another R$2.4 million must be reserved to acquire athletes for the youth categories. The budget for this part of the club is R$16.2 million. The forecast for women’s football is R$2 million.
Profit
Based on projected expenses (R$ 226.3 million), with net profit of approximately R$26 million.
