The end of Crefisa’s sponsorship of Palmeiras is defined as a historic milestone, according to club president Leila Pereira, who also presides over the company. In a video, Leila thanks her for the partnership that lasted ten years and defines it as “the greatest in the history of football”.

Crefisa arrived at Palmeiras in 2015. That year, Palmeiras was champion of the Copa do Brasil. Fernando Prass’ goal in the penalty shootout against Santos in the decision opens the video. Leila praises the 30 models of Palmeiras uniforms with the company’s brand and highlights more than 100 achievements, including men’s, women’s and grassroots football.

“2015. The year a story began. From sponsorship to a historical legacy. From a partnership to an era: the Crefisa and FAM era. Countless actions transcended the four lines of the pitch and surpassed anything that has ever been seen in any partnership in the history of football”, says the club president.

The one who will take on the Palmeiras shirt will be Sportingbet. Per year, the company will invest R$100 million in Palmeiras. Another R$70 million can be injected depending on bonuses for meeting targets.

In the ten years of partnership, Crefisa and FAM contributed R$800 million to Palmeiras. This amount does not include spending on players in the first three years. Spending on athletes became debt, but has already been paid by the club.

“Together, we built the best structure of a club in the Americas. We marked generations. We break barriers. We reach places we always dreamed of reaching. 2024: a chapter closes. With him, the certainty that we will immortalize the greatest partnership in the history of football. Strong sponsorship makes a strong team. Thank you, Palmeiras!”, concludes Leila, in the publication.
