US congressmen intend to prevent foreign authorities from entering the rights of Americans ”
The Justice Commission of approved, on Wednesday (28.FEV.2025), the bill “No Censors on Our Shores Act”, Which prevents the entry of foreign authorities that violate the rights of the first amendment of the US Constitution. The proposal is by the representative (Republican-California).
According to the committee, the measure responds to international judicial decisions that, in the vision of congressmen, threaten freedom of expression in the US. The case of the Minister of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) of Brazil, Alexandre de Moraes was cited as one of the main examples.
This morning, the Committee passed ‘s No Censors on Our Shores Act to block foreign officials who violate Americans’ First Amendment rights from stepping foot on U.S. soil.
