Sales in Brazilian retail advanced 0.5% in February compared to the previous month and rose 1.5% over a year earlier, said the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) on Wednesday (9).
The expectation in Reuters research was up 0.50% in the monthly comparison and a 1.60% advance over a year earlier.
