The body of a 54-year-old man was found without signs of life in a body of water near the village of Réca in the Senec district. The Bratislava regional police informed about it on the social network. She urged the public to be careful when visiting bodies of water.

“According to the information so far, the 54-year-old man should have entered the lake after previously consuming alcoholic beverages, but he did not emerge afterwards. Divers from the river department were called to the scene, and they pulled the man’s body to the shore without signs of life,” she explained.
The police received a notification about the discovery of a dead man shortly after 4:00 p.m. The police officers of the District Directorate of the Police Force in Senec are investigating the circumstances. “In this way, we appeal to the public to be careful when visiting water bodies, not to overestimate their strength and abilities, and not to consume excessive amounts of alcoholic beverages,” added the Bratislava regional police officers.
