Secretariat says that decision does not imply a change in custody; influencer is prevented from practicing law
The (São Paulo Penitentiary Administration Secretariat) declared, on Friday (June 26, 2026), that he will remain in a special cell even after the (Brazilian Bar Association in São Paulo) have the professional practice of a lawyer and influencer. The information is from the portal.
Deolane is detained in a General Staff Room at the Tupi Paulista Women’s Penitentiary, in the interior of São Paulo, on charges of criminal organization and money laundering related to the PCC (First Command of the Capital).
According to the OAB-SP, the influencer should lose the right to the General Staff Room after the suspension. She has been prevented from practicing law since Wednesday (June 24).
SAP, however, told the UOL that the suspension applied by OAB-SP does not imply a change in Deolane’s custody at this time.

According to legislation, preventive suspension can initially be applied for up to 90 days and extended successively, up to a limit of 360 days. During this period, the disciplinary process must be judged definitively.
The entity did not disclose the reason for the decision. The OAB’s disciplinary proceedings are processed under secrecy, in accordance with the Law Statute.
In a note, the OAB-SP stated that “investigates all infractions that come to its attention, through representation or publicly disclosed facts, through its Ethics and Discipline Court“.
The analysis is conducted by the Ethics and Disciplinary Court of the São Paulo section.
In a note sent to Poder360Deolane Bezerra’s defense stated that “the decision is mistaken, absolutely inappropriate and will be subject to immediate appeal” and that “reiterates its confidence in the institutions and will adopt the appropriate measures to reestablish the legality and full right to work for Deolane“.

“Deolane Bezerra’s defense, sponsored by lawyers Aury Lopes Jr., Josimary Rocha de Vilhena, Luiz Ricardo Rodrigues Imparato and Rogério Nunes, regrets having been surprised by news in the press about the suspension of her registration with the OAB, set at 90 days, highlighting that such a measure occurred without due respect for the adversarial process and the prior right of defense.
The decision is mistaken, absolutely inappropriate and will be subject to immediate appeal. The defense reiterates its confidence in the institutions and will adopt the appropriate measures to reestablish the legality and full right to Deolane’s work“.
Deolane became a defendant in an investigation into PCC
The suspension comes one week after Deolane left for criminal organization and money laundering, in a process linked to operation Vérnix. The complaint from the São Paulo Public Ministry was received by the 3rd President Venceslau Court on June 18.
The investigation investigates alleged transfers of resources attributed to the PCC. Deolane denies the accusations and states, through her defense, that her income comes from a legal source and that she has no links with organized crime.
