Leaving the corporation’s headquarters in Brasilia, Bolsonaro classified the investigation as a “persecution.”

“The persecution continues. Much worse was done in 2017 and 2018, when Lula was in prison. The PT rode the world denouncing the Brazilian justice as partial. It is a persecution,” he said.

Bolsonaro confirmed the sending of $ 2 million to Eduardo, who currently lives in the US, and said the values have private purpose.

“I am funding my son and my granddaughter, and the accusation is that I would be funding undemocratic acts. The work he does there is for the democracy of Brazil. There is no sanction of Brazilian authorities in the United States,” he said.

“I deposited 2 million in his account. I have two grandchildren, and everything there is much more expensive,” he added.

“Inquiry in a mistaken way. None of the typifications are minimally viable. Justice is politicized and politics is judged,” said the lawyer.

Bolsonaro was also asked about Carla Zambelli (PL-SP), who is on the run in Italy after the decree of his custody by the Supreme Court. The former president denied any relationship with the deputy and said he did not send resources to her.

“I have nothing to do with Carla Zambelli, I didn’t transfer money to her pix. Today I was heard only on the issue of resources sent to my son, who is in the United States.”
