President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini will welcome from 10 to 11 June of the Spanish King Philip VI. This is the first official visit to the Spanish monarch in Slovakia after more than twenty years. TASR informed about it from the Communication Department of the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic, saying that this is an important milestone in bilateral relations between the two countries.

The visit will be a bilateral meeting of both statesmen and a ceremonial state dinner in honor of the royal visit.
On Wednesday, June 11, the President of the Slovak Republic and His Majesty will travel together to Lešť, where they look at the work of a multinational NATO combat group under the leadership of the Spanish contingent who recently took command. Ceremonial onset, presentation of technology and dynamic demonstrations of units training will be held in the premises of the Lešť Training Center.
