Vienna/Hollywood – Amazon Prime brings the series adaptation of the bestseller novel “We Were Liar” by E. Lockhart to the screens. It is about Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind), who spends the summer months on the private island of her grandfather every year. After all, the Sinclairs belong to the old nobility of New England. With some friends, the conspiratorial community of “liars” is formed.
