Studio Ghibli classic will be relaunched in Brazil in IMAX 4K

The animation “Princess Mononoke”one of the greatest classics of Studio Ghibli, will return to Brazilian theaters em REMASTERIZED VERSION IN IMAX 4Kin theaters that have this technology in the country. The film will hit theaters selected from August 21st.

The relaunch seeks a greater immersion of fans in the universe created by Hayao Miyazaki (“The Boy and the Heron”), which was originally released in 1997, and became one.

The film follows the story of young prince Ashitaka, who is cursed by a demon and leaves on a journey to find a cure. He ends up reaching a region devastated by conflicts between humans – represented by Lady Eboshi and his Iron City – and the forest spirits, led by San, the mysterious “Princess Mononoke”, a young woman created by giant wolves and relentless defender of the forest.

Ashitaka tries to understand both sides of the conflict and seeks a path of balance and coexistence. The film is a complex fable that navigates and reflects on numerous topics, such as coexistence, identity, responsibility and balance.

The relaunch is part of the celebration of 40 -year legacy of whose animations have gained public and criticism around the world. In a statement, Sato Company CEO Nelson Sato praised the work and the new version of the relaunch. “We believe this relaunch will rekindle fans’ passion for this masterpiece, and introduce AA an audience that may not yet know it. It is more than a movie; it is a transformative cinematic experience.”

The return of “Princess Mononoke” to theaters takes place on August 21, and the selected cinemas for reexability will be announced soon.
