It was in the 1980s when Peter Packesch made me known to me in Ballgasse 4 with Heimo Zobernig, Otto Zitko and Herbert Brandl (I already knew Franz West personally). It emerged from a somewhere and somehow the most necessary work together and friendships together. With Herbert Brandl, I found me one that did not constantly need closeness and exchange, but always lit heartily at our encounters in the studio or in galleries or anywhere else.
