Flaming chicks in the Schönbrunn Tiergarten hatched

There are now fluffy, gray “small poultry” between the elegant pink flamingos in the Vienna Tiergarten Schönbrunn: after around 28 days of breeding, nine chicks have slipped, further eggs are still incubated. The offspring still wear a gray fluffy feather dress. Only after about three years do birds accept the characteristic pink coloring
