Cyclist († 72) in the Western Tatras collapsed while driving: Rescuers could no longer save him

A 72-year-old cyclist died in the Bobrovecka valley on the northern side of the West Tatras on Thursday (7 August). He lost consciousness and there were no basic vital functions present. This was reported by the Mountain Rescue Service (HZS) on its website.

Rescuers from the Regional Center of the Fire PSO Western Tatras – Zverovka, the crew of rapid medical assistance and the helicopter emergency medical service were directed to the site, ”said the HZS.

They added that despite the great efforts of all participants The man failed to restore vital functions. The body of the poor was subsequently handed over to members of the Police Force.
