AP reporters after a major Russian attack on Kiev at night report that Smoke is rising from the roof of the building where the Ukrainian government is located. It is not yet clear whether this is the result of a direct Russian intervention, informs TASR.
If it was confirmed that Russia attacked the Ukrainian government building, it would be an escalation of the Russian air campaign against the goals in the capital of Ukraine, notes AP. Russia has so far avoided attacks on government buildings in the city center. They also report fires from several buildings across the city.
