Czech police detained a 51 -year -old man who illegally circulated on the country’s roads behind a competition car similar to a Formula 1 Ferrari.
The unusual episode has taken place since 2019, when the individual began to conduct the red monolugar on public roads without any license or permission. The case again gained prominence last weekend, when several motorists, surprised by the presence of the vehicle, warned the authorities.
Police set up an operation that included terrestrial patrols and even a helicopter, eventually stopping the man at his residence in Buk, about 60 km from Prague.
Despite its appearance, the car is not a Formula 1 Ferrari, but a 2008 Dallara GP2 from the category that preceded Formula 2. The detainee refused to make statements to the authorities.
