Poland demolishes several Russian drones after an "unprecedented rape" of its airspace

The publication indicated that its airspace was “repeatedly violated by drone objects”, launched by the Russian Federation against objectives in Ukrainian territory on Tuesday night. The Polish command mentioned that the threatened areas are the provinces of the East Podlaquia, Mazovia and Lublin, and invites the population to “stay at home” during the development of military operations.

On Tuesday, Poland had already announced that it closed all the border steps from Belarus, on the occasion of the ‘Zapad’ military maneuvers, a measure that will be in force on Thursday night to Friday. “The aggressive Russian-Bielorruse military exercises ‘Zapad’ begin on Friday; therefore, we will close the borders with Belarus, including railway crosses, from Thursday night until Friday,” Tusk told the press in Warsaw at the end of a Council of Ministers.

The head of the Polish Executive explained that the military maneuvers, which will run between September 12 and 16, advise the closure “for national security reasons.” It is unknown if the drone incident has some relationship with it.
