Denmark said it was the most serious attack so far in its critical infrastructure and related them to a series of suspicious raids of Russian drones and other interruptions throughout Europe.
The Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said the drone activity seemed to have been designed to “disturb and create disorders,” although authorities have abstained from appointing suspects.
The sighting of two or three large drones near Copenhagen airport at the end of Monday suspended all offspring and landings for almost four hours. Norway authorities also closed the Air Space of Oslo airport for three hours after a drone was seen.

Denmark does not discard anything
“What we saw last night is the most serious attack on Danish critical infrastructure so far,” Frederiksen said in a statement sent to the media on Tuesday.
“Obviously, we are not discarding any option for those behind it. And it is clear that this fits the developments we have recently observed with other drone attacks, airspace violations and hacker attacks on European airports,” she said.

In comments to public broadcaster Dr, Frederiksen mentioned recent suspicions of raids of Russian drones in Polish and Romanian airspace, as well as Estonia reporting that Russian fighters had entered their airspace on Friday.
“I certainly can’t deny that it is Russia,” she said.
Danish police refused to comment on an X post by Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, with no evidence that Russia was behind the violation of Copenhagen airspace.
