Arrested in Italy, Deputy said he only had access to the arrest warrant of Minister Alexandre de Moraes inserted in the National Council of Justice system after the crime committed by hacker Walter Delgatti
The federal deputy (PL-SP) denied, on Wednesday (24), that she ordered the invasion of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) system by the Hacker to insert an arrest warrant against the Supreme Court Minister (STF) Alexandre de Moraes. In a virtual testimony to the members of the Constitution and Justice and Citizenship Commission (CCJ) of the Chamber of Deputies, Zambelli said the case by which he was sentenced to ten years in prison and loss of office is “unfair.” The collegiate analyzes the process that can revoke the mandate of the parliamentarian – which is stuck in Italy.
Rapporteur of the Supreme Process, Moraes argued that the deputy maintained a “umbilical connection” with Delgatti with “anti -republican goals.” According to the prosecutor’s accusation, Zambelli would have coordinated the invasion of systems of the judiciary executed by Delgatti. In attacking the CNJ system in 2023, a fake arrest warrant was issued against Moraes.
The deputy denied. Zambelli said “he did not participate in this issue” and said that “it is calm to prove that the process is unfair.” “I didn’t talk to him throughout the campaign, the rest of the year. I only went to talk to him when, you must have seen in the expert’s testimony, where he says he contacted me only after a few months after having invaded the CNJ system (..) I’m quite quiet to prove that the process is unfair. I did not participate in this issue,” said the deputy.
According to the deputy, she only had access to the arrest warrant of Minister Alexandre de Moraes inserted in the CNJ system after the crime committed by Delgatti. “I had access to the arrest warrant after it happened. Before, no,” he said. The Federal Police (PF) pointed out, in the investigation report, that documents seized with the deputy correspond to the files inserted by the hacker in the CNJ system, which for the investigators proves that she participated in the attack.
According to the investigation, the attack was planned to doubt the credibility of the judiciary. On May 14, Zambelli was unanimously convicted. Walter Delgatti narrated to the Federal Police that he received about $ 40,000 to try to invade the judiciary systems. He delivered proof of transfer that totaled R $ 10,500 made by a former advisor to the deputy. The rest, according to the report, would have been delivered in kind in São Paulo.
