Raul Almeida began militancy in centrist youth 40 years ago. At CDS-PP, he was president of the Ovar and district of Aveiro, and was part of the directions of Paulo Portas, Ribeiro and Castro and Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos. He was also deputy in three legislatures. He is currently a municipal deputy in Porto, elected by the mayor’s movement, Rui Moreira, and leads the municipal bench.
After supporting the candidacy of Rui Moreira, CDS-PP is part of these municipal elections the coalition led by former PSD Minister Pedro Duarte. Raul Almeida is part of the list of candidates for the Municipal Assembly of the Independent Candidate.
At the municipal level, Raul Almeida also denounces divergences with other elected.
