Former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro left the presidency of PL Mulher this Tuesday (June 30, 2026). The decision was made after a meeting with the party president, Valdemar Costa Neto, this afternoon.
In a statement, Michelle said that she will leave her position to dedicate herself to her family.
“As President of the Liberal Women’s Party, I hereby come to inform you that, after much reflection with my husband about the moment we are living in our family, I met with the President of the Liberal Party this afternoon and informed him of my decision to leave the Presidency of PL Mulher to dedicate myself – fully – to caring for my husband and my daughter”says an excerpt from the statement.
