Brazilian authorities intercepted on Friday (26) an aircraft with fake enrollment that had taken off from Bolivia and entered the national airspace without authorization, carrying approximately a ton of cocaine. The operation was confirmed on Saturday (27) by official sources.
According to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), the plane was detected by the radars by invading airspace without flight plan. Super toucan A-29 fighters were called to intercept it, but the aircraft was able to land on a clandestine track, used for drug trafficking, located on a farm in Rondonópolis, municipality of Mato Grosso, near borders with Bolivia and Paraguay.

The location of the track was immediately passed on to the Special Border Group, the Federal Police and the Military Police of Mato Grosso, who organized a joint operation. Although most suspects were able to flee before the teams arrived, three people were arrested and taken to the Federal Police headquarters in Cuiabá.
During the action, 31 cocaine bales were seized, 17 still inside the aircraft, departs in a pickup truck and the rest hidden in nearby forest areas.
The Federal Police initiated an inquiry to investigate the drug trafficking scheme, identify those responsible for transporting the drug and the irregular entry of the aircraft in the Brazilian territory.
