Mailza opens the game about nozzle in 2026: “I will be a candidate with or without him”

Acre’s deputy governor, Mailza Assis (PP), left no room for speculation. In an exclusive conversation with the column, she was categorical: her candidacy for Rio Branco City Hall is maintained, even if the current mayor Tião Bocalom (PL) enters the match.

“I was asked if I would withdraw my candidacy if mouth was a candidate, I replied that my candidacy is certain and is independent of his decision to be candidate or not,” he said.

Speech is loaded with political message. On the one hand, Mailza tries to consolidate her space in the conservative field, presenting himself as a viable alternative to the capital. On the other hand, she plays light on a risk that bothers allies: the division between state government and city hall – both right -wing – in the middle of the election year.

According to the deputy governor, the direct dispute with nozzle could “bring a division between state and municipality that are from the same ideological field”, something that, in her words, “is not good”.

Response

Mailza’s statement comes shortly after a mouthwash interview with journalist Alexandre Gomes. In the conversation, Bocalom made a point of highlighting that he maintains respect for the deputy governor, despite political differences.

Understand:

“I have the greatest affection and respect for Mailza. I have no problem with her, in reality. She gave me a grade 5 and I understand this as a political question. She said she wanted my support anyway and I told her that at this moment I can not make that decision and that I was going to continue working for Rio Branco,” he said.

The mayor stressed that the note attributed by Mailza to his management reflects a political context, but stressed that this does not change his relationship with her. “She was upset with me and gave me that note, when everyone gives me a bigger grade. When she gives a note 5, I think if I support her, I can disturb her. I don’t want to give any problem at all, I have a love for her,” he said.

Commenting on the acronyms they both represent, Bocalom recalled that they are part of the same ideological spectrum. “We’re in right -wing parties. She’s in PP and I’m in the PL. Ahead is that all this is resolved. I insist again: what matters to me is to take care of our white river,” he said.

Despite recognizing the importance of the debate about Acre’s political future, the mayor stressed that he is currently focused on his management in the capital. “What really counts on the election is next year,” he concluded.
