A Ryanair flight between London and Alicante was forced to land an emergency in Toulouse, France, after a drunk British passenger group caused on board disorders. One of the men tried to open the emergency door during the flight, causing panic among the passengers.
According to the Daily Mail, the crew warned the French authorities, who removed the group from the plane. The main involved was arrested after resisting the police and could face up to five years in prison.
Witnesses reported that the passengers concerned were causing problems since offspring, constantly changing places, drinking in excess and improper comments. One of the passengers described the moment as “scary”, praising the pilot’s quick decision to land emergency.
