O Palmeiras hit the arrival of striker Felipe Teresaone of the heroes of the conquest of the Flamengo U-20 World Cup in 2024. Two-time champion of the competition this season, the young man left the Rio club last month after contract termination. The bond with Verdon will last two years, and the team from São Paulo will hold 80% of their economic rights.
At 19, Teresa played 25 games in 2025, 21 for Fla’s under-20 and four for the main team. This year, he scored five goals, four for the under-20 and one on the top team. However, the striker lost space at the end of his career at the club. At the U-20 Club World Cup, for example, he was not a starter against Barcelona and only entered the second stage. In 2024, also leaving the bank, he scored the goal of Olympiacos, which guaranteed Flamengo the Cup of the Intercontinental U-20 Cup.
The contract was lasting until June 2026 and the termination was a decision of Flamengo, which pointed to dissatisfaction with the athlete’s posture. The red-black base sector has a reformulation since the arrival of Alfredo Almeida as manager.
At Palmeiras, the expectation is that Felipe Teresa initially has space in the U-20, in a situation compared to Pedro Bicalho. The steering wheel, who left Cruzeiro for indiscipline, became captain of the base Alviverde and was eventually transferred to European football.
