Rome-After the stop of the Gaza flotilla by Israel and the arrest of around 40 Italian activists, a nationwide strike was proclaimed in Italy on Friday. The work that was declared as a general strike was a reaction to the procedure against the Gaza aid fleet, said Italy’s largest union association CGIL on platform X. The legal government in Rome “lets Italian workers down in international waters,” it said.
