A cattle rancher identified as Paulo César Castelan Klippel53 years old, known in the region as Cesinhawas found shot to death this Wednesday morning (15), on his property in the rural area of Placido de Castrointerior do Acre.

The crime took place in an area located on the banks of the AC-475 Highway. Residents reported hearing gunshots in the morning, and the victim’s body was located hours later, lying on the ground next to the wooden house where he lived. Near the scene, police officers found several pistol shells, which reinforces the hypothesis of execution.
O Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was called, but upon arriving at the crime scene, the team only confirmed the death. THE Military Police isolated the area until forensics arrived.
A team from Technical-Scientific Police Department (DPTC) traveled from Rio Branco to carry out the surveys and remove the body. The investigations are under the responsibility of Plácido de Castro Civil Police Stationwhich works to identify the suspects and clarify the circumstances of the homicide.
So far, no one has been arrested and the case is treated by authorities as a possible execution.
