Just a few mistakes are enough to see streaks, sauce remnants or grease on plates instead of perfectly clean ones. Fortunately, you just need to know a few rules that make the dishwasher work as it should.

When you open the dishwasher and see unwashed dishes, this does not always indicate a hardware failure. Very often, the problem lies in poor content arrangement. However, before you start experimenting with the arrangement of plates, make sure that:

  • filters and spray arms are clean and unobstructed,
  • the dishwasher has the right amount of salt and rinse aid,
  • the dishes have not been left standing for several days with dried food remains.

If you have all this under control, it’s time to take a closer look at how you properly arrange the dishes in the baskets.
