Daughter of the first Miss Czechoslovakia, Ivana Christová (55), Daniela Zajíček Christová, on Thursday, October 9, she happily announced that she is expecting her second child. Together with her husband Milos they are already raising a four-year-old daughter Zoykuwho will soon have the role of an older sister, thanks to which they will have something more cheerful and busy in the household.
The make-up artist has already boasted about her beautiful pregnant belly, which suits her extremely well. “Mom, Dad and your big sister can’t wait to meet you! Our hearts (and family) are growing again. We feel so blessed!” the mother-to-be confessed on her Instagram, but she has not revealed the gender of the baby yet.
She immediately posted a collage of photos that summed up the period when she was trying to get pregnant. You can find VIDEO of individual shots at the beginning of the article. “Because I know that you may be going through a lot… because not everything that looks perfect is perfect,” she wrote alongside the pictures, which show dozens of injections she was forced to take to make her dream come true.
She publicly confirmed that she could turn to experts and it was not the first time. She gave birth to her daughter Zojka in February 2021 thanks to artificial insemination. In an interview published with Dr. Michala Adamec she revealed that she and her husband tried for a baby for about a year. “We came, we said how long we have been trying, that we would like a child and that somehow we are not succeeding” Daniela explained.
After consulting with the doctor, they decided on the IUI method, which uses the natural ability of sperm to fertilize an egg – sperm are introduced directly into the uterus using a catheter. After the procedure, Christová noticed certain changes, as a result of which she took a pregnancy test at home. “I had such faint lines, but then they actually called me from the clinic and I had it confirmed. Well, of course it was a pleasure,” she remembered the pivotal moment she had been waiting for so long.
She also reckoned with the fact that it might not turn out as she imagined. “I was also counting on the fact that it might not work… over time it was basically fast, it would have been even faster if covid hadn’t come in when everything was suspended, but it was very simple, fast, controlled and it was absolutely great for me,” she evaluated the entire process of artificial insemination.
