The police started a criminal investigation for the crime of manslaughter in the case of a traffic accident on Tuesday (October 21) in the cadastre of the village of Margecany in the district of Gelnica, in which a 14-year-old boy lost his life. The car was driven by a minor. Košice regional police spokeswoman Lenka Ivanová informed TASR about this.
The couple took the car from the grandfather of one of them. Vehicle stamp The Opel was driven by a 13-year-old boy in the part of the village of Rolová Huta along road III. class leading past the Ružín water reservoir. He went off the road, the car skidded and hit a concrete high voltage pole. After the impact, the car was thrown back onto the road.

The passenger succumbed to his injuries on the spot. “The person who was driving the vehicle was taken to the hospital by the ambulance crew and, according to the preliminary medical report, he suffered injuries that are expected to take up to 14 days to heal.” said Ivanova.
The police warn that the steering wheel does not belong in the hands of a child. He appeals to parents and grandparents not to leave car keys in a freely accessible place that children can easily reach.
