A robbery gone wrong drew attention in Cruzeiro do Sul this Wednesday, 22nd. A man was injured after trying to take the gun from a military police officer, who at that time was participating in training at a local academy.
The incident occurred when the suspect found the pistol inside the police officer’s car, parked near Top Fitness, and decided to take it. During the attempt to hide the weapon in his waistband, the equipment went off, hitting the suspect in the leg.

SAMU was called and provided care at the scene, before taking the man to Hospital do Juruá. He remains in custody while the Civil Police investigate both the robbery and the circumstances of the shooting.
