The Israeli Prime Minister declared this Sunday (26) that he does not need any authorization to attack Israel’s enemies, stating that the country is an independent state. “Our security policy is in our hands,” he said during a cabinet meeting.

“We respond to attacks at our own discretion, as we did in and, more recently, in,” he added.

Netanyahu spoke a week after receiving a visit from several senior American officials who sought to consolidate the ceasefire in effect in Gaza since October 10.
